SDL: Cuirassier

Okay, I know the Hana isn't a fighting character, and therfore doesn't need to be on the profile, but I figured it would be fitting as Cuirassier never leaves her side.

Yes, I made another character. Couldn't help myself.

CUIRASSIER (Or 'Shield' In Arabic...I hope)
AGE: Late Twenties Early Thirties
HEIGHT: 6"4ish
GENDER: It maybe hard to tell, but he's definitely a dude.
WEAPON: Two scimatars, which I will be drawing later
PERSONALITY: Constantly on the alert, seeing anything as a possible threat to his young madam. Extremely loyal to Hana, despite being annoyed with her at times when she does something unecessary, like made a rude comment to a heavily armed stranger, that puts herself in danger. He would easily give his life for her, though he'd very much prefer to exert all options beforehand. He never reveals his face, or much of the rest of his body to anyone, preferring to envelop himself in "those disgusting rags" as Hana refers to them as.

HEIGHT: 4"1...Or so she insists.
GENDER: Female
WEAPON: ...Well, Cuirassier.
PERSONALITY: Well most eight year old girls would play with dollies and pretend to be Geisha and the like, Hana prefers making calculations, tending to the business of her family's fortune, and being as sarcastic and witty as one can be. Though she is intelligent far beyond her years, she has very little people skills, and often says offensive things to people, earning her a lot of enemies. She certainly doesn't act like a little girl, and that definitely gets her and her disgruntled body guard into quite a bit of trouble.


HISTORY: Cuirassier came to Japan some years ago, though he still has a very heavy accent. He grew up in a small village in Saudi Arabia, where he learned to fight. However, in his later teen years he ran into some trouble that he is unwilling to speak of, which forced him to go far far away, to Kyoto, Japan, where he was employed as bodyguard to a rich family. He was present at Hana's birth, and the parents decided it best that from then on he should be with her all the time. Hana was given the best tutors money could buy, but those soon bored her, as she very quickly grew smarter than some of them. So, she took to leaving to house to discover new things on her own. While out on one of these excursions, Cuirassier of course went to go find her. By the time they had returned, they discovered that the entire house had been burned down, and her entire family was dead. Cuirassier was experienced enough to know that it was no accident, so he grabbed Hana's hand and took her out of the city, where she would be safe. They have spent two years on the run at Cuirassier's insistance. Though Hana does everything she can to make them spend the nights in high class Inns, Cuirassier usually makes them sleep outside. In an attempt to make a name for themselves again, Hana signed Cuirassier up for the Samurai Dueler's League, much to Cuirassier's displeasure. As if he needed another distraction.
